After God delivered the people of Israel from Egypt, He led them into the wilderness of Shur where He established a covenant, testing them with a powerful promise. He stated that if they would give "earnest heed"—or what we call sincere attention—to His voice and His commands, they would be protected from disease, for He is the Lord, their Healer.

This promise presents the key to walking under God’s protection. The big question for us is simple: How do we actually give sincere attention to God’s voice today?

We believe that while God speaks in many ways, His written Word is the definitive, unchanging way He reveals His will, strategy, and promises. Sincere Attention is an attempt to give earnest heed to the Scripture by sharing insights learned through consistent Bible reading and honest application. It's a forum for Learning to Walk with God through topics, including spiritual strategy, courageous vulnerability, and persistent faith.
